DCS Wins NRL Contract to Reduce Intel Analysis Workloads
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — DCS was awarded an Enhanced Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sensor and System Capability Development contract on Nov. 16, the company announced in a Dec. 12 release. This single award contract has a five-year period of performance to provide support to the Naval Research Laboratory in Washington.
Under this contract, DCS will conduct research that ultimately will provide a capability to reduce intelligence analyst workloads, enhance operator efficiency through reduced detection times, and enhance the capability to detect and track small high-value targets in cluttered environments. The detection and tracking of targets of interest will be accomplished by combining soft biometrics data with human detection, segmentation algorithms and machine learning.
